What we collect

• Account data — an internal user ID and, depending on your sign-in method, an email address, display name, profile image, or Apple private-relay address.
• Poker study data — hand histories, sessions, text annotations, optional voice/audio annotations you record, study progress, coach prompts, and community content you choose to sync, submit, or share. Voice/audio annotations are used only for replay annotation and sync features you initiate.
• Purchase data — product, subscription, entitlement, and transaction identifiers. We do not store card details.
• Notification data — a device push token and platform when you enable notifications.
• Optional usage analytics (PostHog) — product interaction events and coarse performance bands. Analytics never include hand-history text, coach prompts, email addresses, or names.
• Crash diagnostics (Sentry) — stack traces, app version, operating-system version, and device characteristics.

What we don't do

• No third-party advertising.
• No sale of personal data.
• No tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.
• No hand-history or coach-prompt contents in PostHog or Sentry.

Data retention

Account and synced study data are retained while your account is active. Analytics events are retained for up to one year and crash reports for 90 days. Transaction records may be retained where required for subscription support, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal obligations. Account deletion removes associated data from active Royalgrind systems, subject to limited legal, security, and backup retention.

Third-party services

• Apple, Google, Paddle, RevenueCat, and Stripe (legacy) — process purchases and synchronize subscription access. We don't store card data.
• Firebase — supports push notifications.
• DeepSeek — processes prompts required to provide AI coaching. We minimize the data included in each request.
• Sentry — crash reporting (anonymized).
• PostHog — optional product analytics.
